Due to the budget being small (1 million dollars) most locations were duplicates from previous films. Hatchet 2's boat house was only used once and the rest of the footage feels like it's been Decker Shado Hatchet 3 duplicated from previous films. It can feel almost familiar to viewers who have watched Hatchet or Hatchet 2.
Overall, Hatchet 3 was enjoyable, even though it felt very similar in tone to previous installments within the series. It was filled with gory thrills as well as some entertaining performances from its actors.
